Pharmacologist & Chemical Dependency Counselor

Dr. Inaba is a nationally renowned pharmacologist who was one of the original volunteers at the Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic in San Francisco, founded in 1967 by Dr. David Smith. In 1969, he co-founded the Detoxification and Rehabilitation Unit of the Haight-Ashbury Clinic in response to methamphetamine and opiate problems of that time. As a chemical dependency counselor, Dr. Inaba brings a unique clinical perspective to understanding how drugs impact both behavior and the brain.
